I signed up for adwords, yahoo marketing solutions and microsoft adcenter to get started on ppc marketing but.
When u sing up u get coupons that supposedly would give u a determined amount of money to use as free clicks. Where do I see this "credit" in each network? I’ve been going crazy trying to figure this out.
I understand what u (imisidro) mean, but when I opened my account with microsoft, the sign up page said "Sign up today and get up to $75 in free* clicks toward your first campaign." , adwords said the same with $50, and yahoo $25… but when I finished setup up everything, I can’t see this "available credit" that’s what im looking to find
Hey marlevm,
In most of those PPC campaigns you will have to create your first ad campaign before the credits show up. So go ahead and create one, wait for it to get approved, and then pause it. You should see it show up then.
I had this problem in adcenter though and I never did figure it out. I’m pretty sure it never showed up anywhere, but I spent $75 before they started taking money out of my initial deposit. *shrugs*
The other ones worked great though!
While you’re at it you may want to take advantage of facebook’s current $100 free offer!

When you sign up with these PPC networks, they don’t give free coupons for free clicks.
You get free coupons from any of these ways:
- your web hosting company offers coupons for Adwords, etc and it is typically $50
- you received a direct mail piece from Microsoft Adcenter and the postcard contains the coupon code
If you have coupons, you will put it in the billing section so you can claim the free clicks
But you won’t get a coupon for simply signing and creating an account. You must get them from the marketing partners or marketing pieces of these companies

Right, you need that coupon code and assuming you entered in the code upon signing up it’s not that easy. There is an (*) so read the fine print. Both adCenter and YSM requires you to put up an initial deposit (anywhere from $5-$25) to get that credit. So check the fine print on the coupon code you received.
Good luck with your PPC campaign!
