Neon Signs
What is the coolest neon sign that you have ever seen? I remember in Las Vegas the neon signs as far as the eye could see. I guess neon signs have been in Vegas since the early years when the mobsters set up the first casinos there. I wonder if those guys imagined how big and bright that city would become in the years to come.
I think neon signs are so cool that I have one in each room of my house. I have a purple neon sign in my bedroom that worked fine for years. Just lately it has started to blink alot and I think it is about ready to go but I will keep it up on my wall even after it quits because the design is so cool.
Many businesses use neon signs today for their storefronts. In Orlando, where I live now, there is a strip of pawn shops and liquor stores that goes on for a mile it seems. They all have neon signs flashing various things to attract business into their establishment.
I don’t know why I am so interested in neon signs but I will continue my collection and always be on the lookout for that perfect neon sign.
